WHY PELOSI MUST GO

Nancy Pelosi, and her numerous versions of the truth, has made a mockery out of her governance and her party. Her disingenuous, "knew," "didn't know," "kind of knew," and parsing of the words "briefed" and "informed," will go down in the history of political lies, right up there will Bill Clinton's, "It depends on what the definition of 'is', is."

Not only lying about knowing about the "crimes" of torture (i.e., waterboarding, etc.), her accusation that calls the CIA habitual liars for seven years, undermines both the integrity of a key agency in the war on terror, the CIA, and also undermines the credibility of her own office, which is fearfully the third in-line to the presidency.

Watching her contorted news conference last week should be considered as a new enhanced interrogation technique (EIT), along with waterboarding and fingernail removal. It was pitifully painful to observe, watching her shuffling her lawyered-up papers which chronicled what her version of the truth was for the day, makes her a national embarrassment to all Americans.

Pelosi has accused the CIA of systematically lying to her for over seven years. If true, this is potentially a crime (lying to Congress). Accusing the CIA of a crime is serious business and is not something that can be overlooked or swept under the rug. This wild charge must not be allowed to expire.

Either she needs to provide the proof that they lied to her, or she needs to resign in disgrace. There is no middle-ground. An apology will not be sufficient to negate the damage done either. Apologizing for lying to the American people is bad enough, but attempting to take down the entire CIA with her, is another thing altogether.

Fellow loyal, life-time Democrat and current CIA head, Leon Panetta, does not agree with Pelosi's latest version of the truth. I'll believe him over her any day of the week. Pelosi must go and she must go now!
