"We acknowledge now with President Obama, that we have made mistakes," Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on her recent trip to India, accepting responsibility for America's role in global warming. Clinton was obviously pointing a finger of blame at the unrepentant Bush administration. But while Obama and his surrogates have traveled the globe apologizing for what he perceives as other people's mistakes, he's shown a marked reluctance to shoulder the blame for his own misjudgments.
Your title says everything about the problem and it speaks directly to what won't happen.

States rights have prevented the Federal Government from implementing a law passed in 2005. It was about national ID's. It occurred to me that in addition to "rights", states have guns as in guard units. Maybe there is a way out of Federal control.

The President laughs at the idea of returning stimulus money. He laughs at you, the tax paying small businesses, employees, and people who are doing everything they can to stay afloat. We are jokes. We don't have the money for a lobby in congress, so "bite me" - right? Maybe small business could create a mutual fund to hire one, maybe even start a new position - a "People Czar", we'd need like, say, 800 of them, constantly reading these blogs and letters to the government, how about that?
