Here is video of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, a rising star (which I measure from the fact that the Left hates her almost as much as Palin) in the conservative movement, being interviewed by a perplexed and frustrated Larry King. Bachmann points out that Americans, in order to "get the truth," are turning to Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck. King repeatedly interrupts her, attempting to minimize the size of their respective audiences, incorrectly stating that they capture "only 2% of the population."
King: Would you want the Limbaugh, that crowd — would you want them to be your voice as the Republican Party stands in this country?
Bachmann: Well remember it’s who the American people are referring to Larry. And the American people are looking to voices like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck –
King: I just told you — it’s 2 percent of America. It’s 2 percent!
King needs a math lesson, which I wish Bachmann would have called him on out on. Rush Limbaugh's audience alone is over 20 million people, which is 6% of the population. If those very popular conservatives aren't having an impact, as King infers, then his minuscule ratings are really a drop in the bucket.
