It's no wonder that the majority of the liberal mainstream media is racing towards extinction. The left-wing media's joint venture with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, who together have conducted a hateful smear campaign against conservative talk-show icon, Rush Limbaugh, substantiates their blatant liberal bias, intolerance, prejudice, narrowmindedness, and perversion of journalism. They knowingly repeated imaginary, slanderous, racially-charged quotes and attached them to Rush Limbaugh with absolutely no evidence, no source checking, and no regard for the truth. Both of the racist reverends, undeserving of being crowned with any degree of moral highground, both who have near monopolies in the race hustling industry, publicly stated that Rush Limbaugh's track record on race (a figment of CNN, and MSNBC's imaginations) should exclude him from owning a NFL team, in this case the St. Louis Rams. I'll take Rush Limbaugh's non-existent track record on race against these race demagogues any day.
Al Sharpton had the temerity to send a letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, which accused Limbaugh of being "divisive" (and Sharpton is a uniter?) and "anti-NFL," whatever that means. Lord only knows what shakedown methods Sharpton inflicted upon invertebrate Goodell, because seemingly within minutes, Goodell was parroting Sharpton, saying that Limbaugh's comments were, "divisive."
Jesse Jackson had the gall to say in a racially insensitive statement, that Limbaugh had made his wealth "appealing to the fears of whites" with an unending line of insults against black people and other minorities. "The National Football League has set high standards for racial justice and inclusion," Jackson said. "He should not have the privilege of owning an NFL franchise — and it is a privilege." Question: Hasn't Jesse Jackson made his living "appealing to the fears of blacks?" This man sets a new bar for measuring hypocrisy.
I'll tell Jackson's comments to my black wife who loves Rush, along with Rush's right-hand man, Bo Snerdley, who happens to be black, and economists Walter E. Williams and Thomas Sowell, also black, who have been guest hosts of Rush's popular radio program. Or maybe tell them to former NFL coach, Tony Dungy, who was interviewed today by Dan Patrick and said that Rush should have the opportunity to go through the whole process of applying to buy an NFL team. Dungy was interviewed by "racist" Rush on January 29, 2009 to promote his new book:
Today, former NFL linebacker, Pastor (the real kind) Ken Hutcherson, a frequent caller into the program and long-time personal friend of Rush's, called into the radio show today to express his support, as well as outrage towards Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the rest of Rush's accusers. Below is the transcript of the body of the conversation between Rush and Hutcherson, who he has affectionately nicknamed, "The Hutch:
RUSH: We have the Hutch on the phone from Seattle. Ken Hutcherson, former linebacker, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks. Hutch, welcome to the program.
THE HUTCH: Hey, my man. I am so mad, I am doing back flips up here in Seattle. What in the world is going on in the United States? I mean, the whole issue, Rush -- whether you like it or not -- is they have done you wrong. And this is intolerance, it's prejudice, and if America don't wake up, it is going to happen to them. I am so mad, man, I cannot even -- and I'm a man of the cloth, Rush! I'm not supposed to get this upset. It is time for all of us... You know, why don't they talk to some African-Americans that know you?
RUSH: Oh, that would destroy the narrative. That would destroy the template.
THE HUTCH: Oh, forget that. You know, and talk to some African-Americans know that the poverty pimps, Sharpton and Jackson, they're nothing but slave sliders and pushers to get their way. And you're going to let them have a voice on all the stuff that they've done? Jesse Jackson was telling Bush to, "Stay out of the bushes." He was the one in the bushes having illegitimate kids! How in the world can the NFL -- and I'm going to tell you something else, brother, straight from me, who played football. Those African-American brothers who talk about they wouldn't play? That is the biggest lie on this side of the universe. Not only would their wives get on them and make 'em go -- and their girlfriends, and their moms; they would beat 'em all the way to the 50 yard line and tell them, "You better get out there and get that game check." And why don't they talk to the hundreds of African-American players that would be excited about you owning a team?
It's also predictable that the leftists in the media would, not only carry the water for, but also assign moral authority to, documented racists, Al "Tawana Brawley" Sharpton and Jesse "Hymietown" Jackson. Both Sharpton and Jackson have thrived by exploiting the race industry they nurture. It's totally logical, given these poverty-pimping, race-hustling, shakedown artists depraved past, that the spineless NFL cowards and false accusers (i.e., Roger Goodell), NFL Players Union Executive (Liberal Democrat, DeMaurice Smith) and potential L. A. Rams owners (Dave Checketts), capitulated to the bottom-feeder's extortion.
For a little taste of history regarding the moral hypocrite, "Reverend" Al Sharpton, please watch the video clip below. The article continues following the video:
The entertainment industry, the mainstream media, and corporate America continue to be the lapdogs, enablers and appeasers of the tag-team racist duo of both Jackson and Sharpton, despite their reprehensible, unmitigated anti-Semitism, in fear that they'll be victims of either negative publicity or a racially created extortion attempt. Jackson, while completely sober, called Jews "Hymie," and New York City "Hymietown," while initially denying making the derogatory racial slurs, and only later admitted it after being presented with irrefutable evidence. CNN responded to Jackson's baldfaced racism by giving him his own television show called "Both Sides with Jesse Jackson," more than likely to avoid being the target of one of Jackson's shakedowns.
Calling Rush Limbaugh a racist, with zero evidence to support such a serious claim, is no different than calling each of his 20 million plus listeners "racists," or calling Tea Party participants "racists" as radical Marxist and "actress," Janeane Garofalo has done repeatedly. Liberals, "Progressives," and Marxists (is there a difference?) irresponsible, careless and reckless usage of the race card diminishes cases of real discrimination. It is a very serious charge and should only be used when proven, not in cases where, as in Rush's case, targets are placed into an impossible situation of proving a negative. How do you prove you didn't say something? Yet it's perfectly acceptable for hate-driven, intolerant liberals to make baseless allegations against Rush Limbaugh? In response to the left's smear campaign and character assassination against him, Rush revealed their true motives:
"This is not about the NFL, it's not about the St. Louis Rams, it's not about me. This is about the ongoing effort by the left in this country, wherever you find them, in the media, the Democrat Party, or wherever, to destroy conservatism, to prevent the mainstreaming of anyone who is prominent as a conservative. That's what this is about. Therefore, this is about the future of the United States of America and what kind of country we're going to have."
Jackson and Sharpton, in true ambulance chasing form, rushed to North Carolina, in desperate search of a microphone and a TV camera to convict the innocent Duke lacrosse players. They used the mainstream media, predictably compliant, to be the judge and jury of the falsely accused Duke lacrosse players, publicly assuming their guilt. Did they need evidence? Did the media? Hell NO! The Duke lacrosse players were rich, white kids "of privilege". Of course they're guilty as charged.
When it was revealed that the whole thing was a lie, of course Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton apologized, right? NOT! To this day they have not apologized, nor have they been held accountable by the media for their despicable actions.
The unholy, politically-motivated lynch mob formed between the liberally poisoned mainstream media, radical racists Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the National Liberal Football League, the NFL Players Union head DeMaurice Smith, and member of the lucky sperm club, Colts owner Jim Irsay, based their decision upon racism, bigotry, politics, hatred, and proven lies.
If Rush Limbaugh is a real racist, then why do they have to prove it with fabricated quotes? Unlike Rush, Sharpton's and Jackson's real history of shameful race hustling, shakedowns, race baiting, and racial divisiveness, is based upon true, documented, hard facts.
Does Jesse Jackson have the moral authority to judge anyone? Recall that he had an extra-marital affair, fathered a child out of wedlock, then paid his mistress hush money while simultaneously counseling former President Clinton during his affair with Monica Lewinsky! This is the man who has been crowned as the moral barometer for the NFL and the rest of society?
I truly hope that Rush Limbaugh sues CNN, MSNBC, Jackson, Goodell, Smith, Irsay, and anyone else who has spread the libelous, accusations. They should be made to pay for the defamation, discrimination, and violation of Rush Limbaugh's rights.
