THE 39 DEMOCRATS WHO VOTED AGAINST PELOSI'S HEALTH CARE BILL

Below are the 39 House Democrats who voted against Pelosi's health care reform bill on Nov. 7, 2009. They should be thanked for their display of conviction, patriotism, courage, and for voting their principles while under considerable political pressure from the far-left wing of the Democrat Party. These 39 Democrat representatives voted to respect the Constitution, respect individual and property rights, and voted against further expansion of an already out-of-control federal government:

  7. This bill is only being fought by wealthy insurance executives and fearful and misinformed extremists. It's time for logical debate. It's time to stop demonizing our political opponents. This site is scary with its disrespect, fear mongering and lies. Grow up. Join the logical debate. Hate is not the American way. This plan will make insurers COMPETE harder. That is why they oppose it. SUPPORT a truly free market, and SUPPORT this bill!

    How much money did each receive from the health Insurance companies? Post the amount against their names.
    Senators are voted into office by the public, then "sell out their voters" to business interests who prey on the public.

  21. Many of the 39 democrats voted against the bill because it didn't go far enough in terms of real reform. Those who voted against the bill because they like their republican friends take large sums of money from the health care industry will find real democrats running against them in their upcoming primary elections. The world is moving forward and the lies of the republican party are coming to light. Nixon went off the gold standard a core cause of our current problems, Regan took us across the line into being a debtor nation by his tax cuts and increased government spending. GW Bush used up the surplus left to him and took us to the largest deficit in the world's history. Fighting wars to bring democracy to the world and financing the wars with money borrowed from a communist country is the typical republican insane thinking. These are seats that Democrats conquered the last two elections. On a major issue like this where the constituents are brainwashed by the right wing nuts, its best to vote with them.     Do you get that the government has no money? I mean, do you really get it? Do you understand that for you to get goodies from the "benevolent" government, that they must first take those "goodies," by force, from another citizen?

    God's resources are unlimited. The government's are finite. You may want to think through your comparison of God with politicians and bureaucrats.

  42. Im a Conservative democrat. Whats going on with this congress is a shame. they do not stand for what this country about. Its all about money an power. Im againist this health care. Why the people are not up in arms about this i dont understand. this will cripple this country the cost is to high. I dont have healthcare an I dont expect someone else to pay for it. My doctor takes what i can afford the hospital does the same every doctor i had to see worked with me. there is nothing wrong with what we all ready have. It makes me sick to see these people that want a free ride at the cost to others. I think it wonderful that 39 dems voted no an i wish thay all had. If this keeps up I will change my party. An I will do what i have to fight for what is right i was in there with the tea party an i will keep doing what is right.
