"SHAME ON ME," SAYS AWARD WINNING NEW YORK POST COLUMNIST
Michael Goodwin, a Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Post columnist, wrote an article today, entitled, "Dreading Our Future." An admitted Barack Obama voter, Goodwin expresses much more than just buyer's remorse. The anger, frustration, disappointment, shock, and fear he feels is communicated very clearly. The closest Goodwin comes to paying President Obama a compliment is, "he (Obama) has become an insufferable bore." Here are some the the main points (my bold added), but you can read the article in it's entirety here. Make sure and read the last quote at the bottom because it's priceless:
"Yet for all the drama and change, the years only occasionally instilled in me the sensation I feel almost constantly now. I am afraid for my country.""I am afraid -- actually, certain -- we are losing the heart and soul that made America unique in human history. Yes, we have enemies, but the greatest danger comes from within.""Watching the freak show in Copenhagen last week, I was alternately furious and filled with dread. The world has gone absolutely bonkers and lunatics are in charge.""Even more frightening, our own leaders joined the circus. Marching to the beat of international drummers, they uncoupled themselves from the will of the people they were elected to serve.""President Obama, for whom I voted because I believed he was the best choice available, is a profound disappointment. I now regard his campaign as a sly bait-and-switch operation, promising one thing and delivering another. Shame on me.""'Time is running out,"' he says, over and again. He said it on health care, on the stimulus, in Copenhagen, on Iran.""Washington has its own freak show and it also features Big Government theocrats.""In fact, it is a myth the fight is over health care at all. It is a vulgar power dispute between liberals and extreme liberals, with health care a convenient portal for command-and-control of 17 percent of the economy.""Meanwhile, Mother Nature delivered her verdict with yesterday's blizzard in Washington. I am cheered by the thought that finally, hell has frozen over."

Buyer's remorse is sweeping the country. Too bad we can't have a do over. When the Senate votes on nationalizing health case on Christmas evening, the USA will become the USSA. Obama and his fellow travelers are going to impose a Marxist totalitarian state on the formerly free citizens - both left and right. This will be the real change.
Why didn't this idiot research things a bit before he cast his vote for Obama. It was all there to see for anyone who looked. Idiot.
you get what you wish for............idiot
It was a plain as the nose on your face what Obama was about before the election. Read his books about himself. I am glad some are now seeing him for what he is.
Why was Joe the Plumber made a laughingstock during the campaign? He asked Obama a simple question "....will you redistribute wealth....?". Seemed a reasonable enough question to me. I don't know where Joe is today but it looks like the whole country is getting the answer to Joe's question.
Let's not count our chickens before the eggs have hatched. OK?
Thses people are slick as greased snot, they still have time to pull a rabbit out their hat.
I welcome our liberal friends who have, or will, experience an awakening and desire to join our efforts in restoring our Nation to Constitutionality of the people, by the people, and for the people.
We can fight about the rest afterwards. LOL
I think there are a lot of people, like the New York Post journalist, who chose not to dissect Obama's message and got swept up in all the "hope and change" empty rhetoric and his being the first black president. It took a lot of guts to for the writer to "come out of the closet." Hopefully, there are millions of others to follow. I suspect that there are.
Wow! Hasn't even been a year yet and Obama hasn't reversed the RepubliCon destruction from the previous 8 years? Hasn't cured all diseases? Has eliminated hunger or war from the planet? Failed to put a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage?
Oh? Too late to "blame Bush" it's Obama's problem now? Remember that if your kid ever gets blamed for a crime he didn't commit. I'm sure you will all just sit back and whine. Funny how nobody seems to remember what the President said over and over again in his campaign speeches "Yes, WE can!" and "I can't do it alone." Any of you crybabies out there lift a finger to help? Didn't think so.
