CNN'S Jack Cafferty ripped into President Obama on Wednesday’s Situation Room, Quoting President Obama's promise to hold open negotiations on C-Span, in contrast with the secret negotiations being conducted to reconcile the House and Senate versions of health care “reform” legislation, Cafferty chided:
“President Obama hasn’t even made a token effort to keep his campaign promises of more openness and transparency in government. It was all just another lie.”
Cafferty has often sang the praises of President Obama, so his harsh condemnation is a bit shocking and reveals the level of "buyer's remorse" being created by the Obama administration and both houses of Congress, led by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.
Cafferty also rebuked Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs for his evasiveness in answering a question about Obama's broken openness promise, and to Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi's 2006 promise of "the most honest and ethical Congress in history," and her recent statement regarding the health care bill: There's never been a more open process," Cafferty angrily asked, "Oh really?". I don't think Jack's buying.
Cafferty's opened his remarks in a disgusted tone, directly to "President Obama and Democrat Leaders", scolding, "how dare they!" He ended the segment with even them even more repugnance, stating that he hoped:
“the voters remember some of this crap when the midterm elections roll around later this year.”
Ouch, Jack! Tell them how you really feel, okay?
