"I want to go on record as endorsing Matthew Burke for the office of United States Congress, Washington State, and 1st District. I have followed his campaign and spoken with him in great detail and can say without reservation he will remember who he works for every day he is in office.
Matthew has worked in the financial services industry for more than 22 years, which to me puts him head and shoulders above most of those currently in congress when it comes to balancing a budget, prioritizing expenditures and putting America back on track to solvency as opposed to the current path of bankruptcy.
Matthew is grounded in a firm belief that Founding Fathers got it right the first time. Like them, he believes in smaller government, lower taxes, personal liberty and freedom. He understands that a limited federal government bound by the limitations of the enumerated powers of the constitution is the best way to ensure these freedoms and the prosperity for future generations of all Americans. He understands that the people own this country, and that a central government that controls every aspect of our lives is nothing short of tyranny.
Matthew, like many of us in America understands that we can’t continue on this course and survive as a nation. Certainly not as the nation those that came before us would recognize. My family has served this nation for more than 14 generations, some of them giving their lives, and I know from their stories, their diaries and writings they did not fight for the type of America the Progressives in both parties have in mind for us.
Most of all I like the fact that Matthew is not a smooth talking bureaucrat or politician. He has never worked for the government. As an everyday working man, I believe Matthew has a firm grasp of the issues we all face including government intrusion in every aspect of our lives right down to the toilet you can buy, light bulb you can use and even an attempt to control the thermostat in your home.
Washington, I feel it is time for us to wash our hands of the professional politicians and lawyers who think they know better than we do how to manage our lives. We need to rid ourselves of those who abuse us like a stolen credit card and discard and dismiss us when we raise a squawk about the abuse.
We have a right not to be harassed by our government and public officials and a fiduciary responsibility to our country to monitor everything our elected officials do and to harass them whenever they overstep the bounds of the constitution and to ensure we restore and maintain our country as the founders intended us to be. Matthew Burke is one man who can and will help us in our quest.
I hope you will all join me as I offer my personal endorsement and support of Matthew Burke for Congress"

Less Government = More Freedom
Who is this Jay Devoreux? The name looks very French--as in the weak-kneed, lilly-livered, can't stand up for themselves types (or don't we hate the French any more now that Bush is out of office?). I went to the Unite in Action web site, and they say their website is down due to leftist, Commie Pinko terrorists who don't believe in free speech or the American way.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. I googled Jay Devoreux and found him on Facebook. He's some guy with long, black hair and over-sized sunglasses. Looks like he's in a rock band or something..
ReplyDeleteYou two should learn how to use the copy and paste feature. You don't even spell the guy's name correctly.
ReplyDeleteRight Black,
ReplyDeleteI may have misspelled his name, but I wasn't googling him...I was googling his organization. Looks like a fly-by-night organization to me.
BTW, are you really black--Or are you secretly one of the French guys like Jay D.?
Anonymous, perhaps you didn't, but the second guy googled him. Secretly one of the French guys? I happen to know Jay personally and he is a great American. Jay's organization is not fly by night. He is on the board for March on DC and an avid/active tea party organizer in our area. There is nothing on the Unite in Action website that says anything about a (and I quote you) "Commie Pinko terrorists". If you are going to report something, stick with the facts rather than embellish them by making things up. (Though that is what the leftist media does best.)
ReplyDeleteIn regards to your question about my ethnicity, yes I am black. It is insulting that liberals assume that I must a fabricated identity since I am a black, conservative woman. Then again, as I usually say from experience, liberals love black people.....unless they happen to be conservative.
I happen to know Jay personally and he is a great American.
ReplyDelete********
Well, of course he's a great American. All the right wing nuts from Rush to Sean to Mark Levin are "Great Americans"--just ask 'em.
If this is the same Anonymous, then it's very obvious you are addicted to the usual liberal tactic of denigration and insults. Quite sad, actually.

The usual "liberal" tactic? Do you ever LISTEN to these people? Leftists are Feminazi, Tree Huggers, Environazis, Terrorists, etc. The President is a "Muslim" (and black) whose loyalty is constantly questioned. Liberals hate everything that is good about America. Their first reaction to the BP oil spill was that it was sabotage by an environmentalist.
You're certainly welcome to be "conservative" if you like. Just not sure why you would want to align yourself with the party of such hateful nutcases...who are paid richly by the major corporations to deceive the American people and to get us at each other's throats.
This is the party of racism. Ron Paul's son, and others of his ilk, think private businesses should have the right to deny you the right to enter their establishments. Welcome back, Jim Crow! Ronald Reagan kicked off his campaign in Philadelphia, Mississippi, the site of the murder of 3 civil rights workers. Daddy Bush ran the Willie Horton commercials. Trent Lott had to resign after he lamented the fact that Strom Thurmond's Dixiecrats lost. George (baby) Bush and the Republican Supreme Court never met a minority they didn't want to execute--even when they didn't get a fair trial.
Well, nuff said. You just go right on being "conservative."
You have two tools: 1) Class Hatred, 2) The race-card. Neither is grounded in reality, and neither shows any degree of intellect or historic accuracy on your part. Dixiecrats came out of the Democrat party, fyi. Truth hurts.
ReplyDeleteMatthew Burke,
ReplyDeleteNice blog. Just wanted to point out something though. You are correct that the Dixiecrats came out of the Democratic Party. The Democrats were the party of racism and slavery for a long time.
However, you neglect to acknowledge Nixon's Southern strategy. After JFK and LBJ supported for civil rights, the GOP won the South by appealing to the KKK types. Reagan and Bush Sr. both made very racist appeals in their campaigns, and G.W. Bush "won" the election of 2000 only by Katherine Harris and Jeb Bush colluding to knock 100,000 blacks off the voter lists, falsely claiming they were "felons."
Please see my earlier comment. You're wasting my time with your delusion and revisionist history. Take away race-baiting and class hatred and your mind is empty. It's boring to hear the same one-two punch.
ReplyDeleteMatthew,
ReplyDeleteYou don't really mean to say you deny the existence of Nixon's Southern strategy (see The Emerging Republican Majority by Kevin Phillips) or Bush Sr.'s Willie Horthon commercials (you can view them on You Tube)?
